Responsibilities

The Consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services delivers technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. Building upon solid IT project experience consultants will work with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services and products in diverse client environments.

Uses business, technology, and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints.


Drives and Supports innovation focusing on industry solutions and customer business outcomes on the Microsoft platform.


Balances Configure-Before-Customize principles with the goals of maximum customer/partner value and with the use of Microsoft core/baseline assets, people, products, and tools.


Develops project plans that use the full project life cycle accounting for current & future business value of each solution while defining all technical dependencies for project.


Demonstrates the ability to articulate value propositions for the most strategic Microsoft products and services.


Demonstrates expertise in a specific solution, or several products, feature functions, or services.

Ensure solutions align with the intent of the architecture allowing for clear build test specifications and development of operations guides for the customer.


Identifies business and technical risks in programs, assesses their impact, and proposes mitigations and contingencies.


Provides stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture and/or consulting.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Or equivalent experience
5+ years of Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures and and Microsoft’s Azure Modern Workplace solutions. (i.e. Teams, M365, SharePoint Online, etc.)
Knowledge to build and deploy Enterprise scale security solutions using the Microsoft 365 platform across collaboration, voice, information barriers and compliance for frontline worker or remote work.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Proven success and expertise in building and deploying innovative Enterprise solutions, based on the Microsoft 365 platform, in a client-facing role.
Proven success and expertise in leading and delivering large scale Digital Transformation projects.
Proven success to engage with customers at all Levels and demonstrate Microsoft Digital Transformation solutions holistically, ideally with experience in the U.S. Government.
Knowledge and Certification to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions on Microsoft 365 (E5) security components such as Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention, Microsoft Information Protection, Microsoft Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection, etc.
Knowledge and Certification to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions for endpoint deployment and management using Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or Intune.
Knowledge and Certification to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions for application management using System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, Azure Application Proxy, Azure Tunnel, etc.
Knowledge to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions for Identity management using Active Directory, Azure Active Directory or Azure Identity protection, etc.
Knowledge to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions for data classification, data protection and compliance.
Knowledge and certification in modern project delivery methods, such as DevOps and Agile/SCRUM.

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.

Cloud Screening: Candidates must be able to successfully complete and pass a Microsoft Cloud background screening. Required Cloud Screenings will be administered on a recurring bi-annual basis.
