Vendr is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to help Vendr become the world's top authority on everything related to SaaS products. In this role, you'll be responsible for helping Vendr make transformational changes in the way companies Find, Buy, and Manage SaaS. This person will be an early member of a skilled and passionate team and will play a key role in defining the future of our ability to delight customers. You will join a rapidly growing innovation team focused on moving quickly, learning, and iterating.

What you'll do:

  • Proactive and Reactive data quality

  • Identify, communicate, and directly resolve data gaps that impede the fulfillment of customer and operational objectives.

  • Source new 3rd party datasets

  • Incorporate data sets from various sources to enhance our catalog's overall effectiveness.

  • Leverage first hand experience with relevant software to inform data set improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members from engineering, product, and operations to ensure our catalog of SaaS products enjoys a state of continuous improvement.

  • Define, monitor, and help refine metrics to validate the efficacy of our approach.

  • Reactively investigating and resolving data issues from 3rd party and internally sourced data

  • Represent Vendr internally and externally, to customers and to the overall business marketplace, as an expert in the SaaS offerings

What we need:

  • Technical experience as follows:
    • SQL (2 years)
    • Data analysis and/or engineering (3-5 years)
    • Python or similar (1-2 years)
    • Tableau (2 years)
  • Experience with leading suppliers in at least one key industry within the SaaS marketplace.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for reading research.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results working cross-functionally
  • Strong work ethic with a "get stuff done" mentality
  • Problem solver, strong attention to detail, extremely organized
  • Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible, agile, and adaptable; used to wearing multiple hats; does not get easily overwhelmed
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a customer-facing environment
