JOB SUMMARY

Manager Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, Cycle Counting and Material Handling teams and processes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, creating and implementing operational policies and procedures.

· Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff, team leaders and supervisor to optimize performance and meet targets and deadlines.

· Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety regulation and corporate guidelines on carriers, freight, etc.

· Ensure compliance with inventory control activities managing cycle count and annual physical inventory counts to meet financial obligation.

· Determine storage rules and audit warehouse to ensure safety and accuracy.

· Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity, setting department KPIs, reviewing and assessing performance of staff and operations.

· Communicating and coordinating with planning and operations to keep production running reducing waiting times and need of operators to pick parts.

· Coordinate and control shipping activities to meet revenue goals and customer satisfaction.

· Prepare the warehouse budget and elaborate capital expenditure proposals. Control supplies, freight expenditure and cost centers of warehouse activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Strong working knowledge of warehouse management and operations.

· Leadership and organizational skills

· Good project management skills, introducing strong decision making, problem-solving

· SAP MM and WM module

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field required.

· 5 years or more of experience as a warehouse, shipping/receiving manager
