What We're Looking For:

The Shipping Associate supports all material movement activities including but not limited to, receiving, stocking, picking and staging customer orders for shipment, pre-sterile and post sterile inventory, cycle counting, inventory error investigation and associated documentation.

What You'll Do:

  • Stages and prepares all finished goods for shipment, along with other outgoing product for sterilization.
  • Prepares all appropriate shipping documents for domestic and export shipments, distributes copies, and maintains proper files.
  • Places all finished goods and raw materials in appropriate locations based on training and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Prepares packages for delivery by prepping contents, attaching shipping labels and confirming that all invoices reflect the correct information.
  • Enters all shipping transactions into the ERP system.
  • Ensures accuracy of inventory movement tracking and transaction data in the ERP system.
  • Performs weekly cycle counts according to generated cycle count schedule and investigates any discrepancies found.
  • Receives inventory, raw materials, and supplies based on work instruction as needed.
  • Assures all picks and ships are correct and timely.
  • Processes any non-conformance and completes the stop log per Work Instruction (WI) and SOP.
  • Reports any raw material and finished goods discrepancies per stop log.
  • Assists with other facility and manufacturing functions as needed.

Other Duties

  • Adheres to GMP/QSR requirements and follows applicable QMS documentation (e.g., SOP’s, Work Instructions) to successfully accomplish job requirements.
  • Follows Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures, including wearing hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection as required.
  • Follows gowning procedures in designated areas.
  • Follows established safety requirements and adheres to the Health Safety and Environment Management System.
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate forklift and obtain a forklift license.
  • Ability to operating various other material handling equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, etc.
  • Ability to understand and follow the requirements of applicable work instructions and/or internal specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and management. Business communication is conducted in English.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow SOP’s, WI’s, policies, and procedures such a safety, quality, and HR that are written in English.
  • Possess basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic understanding of GMP and working within FDA regulated industries preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including ability to use MS Outlook and automated manufacturing and quality systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to properly complete paperwork as required according to work instructions, standards, or other specifications.
  • Excellent dependability and reliability.
  • Willingness to accept change, learn, and work with new processes.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system and Quality Management System (eQMS) preferred.
  • Must be able to work extended hours when required.

This position includes a compensation package that includes a base salary plus a quarterly bonus based on company performance.
