Skate Guard/Monitor Job at Lakeside Brooklyn
Hiring Ice Skate Monitors/Guards at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside inside Prospect Park. An energetic and positive attitude, communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, and the ability to multi-task are all essential qualities.
Duties & responsibilities :
- Daily opening meeting with MOD prior to your shift to discuss all daily programming and events.
- Follow all Lakeside policies and procedures.
- Monitor skaters during skate sessions.
- Ensure proper ice safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Perform closing procedure with MOD. Inform MOD of all issues that have arisen during your shift.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Proactively solve any guest issue that might arise to our guests’ satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be experienced skaters and should be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude.
- Versatile, detail-oriented and organized workmanship.
- Works with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Has the ability to manage a dynamic and ever-changing workflow.
- Self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
