Shenandoah Valley Maternal Fetal Medicine has hired a new Provider and is looking to add a Full-Time Sonographer for our expanding Team. Mon-Fri day shift hours. No Call evenings, weekends and or holidays required.

Performing ultrasound procedures and processes consistent with industry standards, regulations and SVMFM policies, under the direction of the Physician and the Lead Ultrasound Tech.
Greeting patients in a prompt courteous manner and reviewing charts in advance of patient intake.
Completing all authorized patient chart documentation in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Monitoring ultrasound and work area supply inventory and equipment.

Performing Outpatient and Inpatient studies, 1st trimester, nuchal translucency evaluation, uterine artery, middle cerebral, umbilical, and ductus venosus Doppler imaging, color and power Doppler mapping, cervical length measurements, Level II genetic sonograms, fetal growth studies, multiple gestations, 3-4 D applications, guidance for amnio/CVS, and Fetal echo.

American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) protocols

Experience Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in OB preferred. Willing to train once onboarded.

*Upcoming graduating ultrasound students encouraged to apply also.

Certification/Licensure Requirements

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification.
BLS certification

Salary based on experience and will be reviewed at time of interview.
