Sr. LVN - General/Rx Refill Program Coordinator Job at UCLA Health
Under minimal supervision, the General/Rx Refill Patient Coordinator will perform routine administrative patient care activities using established department and program protocols in a controlled patient care environments. The Practice Manager reviews the work, in collaboration with the program faculty.
Salary range: $32.62-$43.04 Hourly
REQUIRED:
Current California LVN license
Possession of a current BCLS certification
Possession of a current IV certification
Experience working with neurological patient population
Experience working with psychiatric patient population
Excellent blood withdrawal skills
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
Working knowledge of abnormal laboratory values
Ability to recognize and intervene in emergency situations.
Skill in usage of medical diagnostic equipment, as well as working knowledge of instruments and supplies required to perform clinical procedures and physical examinations.
Ability to effectively elicit pertinent clinical information such as presenting complaints from patients and referring professional, and make appropriate assignments based on established guidelines.
Skill in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients and visitors with health concerns using tact and discretion.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with sensitive and confidential information using discretion and judgment.
PREFERRED:
Working knowledge of outpatient practice operations
Working knowledge of UC patient registration system, appointment scheduling system and order entry system.
Spanish speaking skills
