Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy is located in a state-of-the-art facility in Beachwood, Ohio. We are an industry-leading compounding pharmacy specializing in sterile medications, Functional Medicine, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapies, pain management, Lyme Disease, Veterinary Medicine, Pediatrics, and Dermatology. We are licensed to dispense medications to 45 states, including California and Texas.

We have an immediate need for a full-time 2nd or 3rd shift pharmacist to oversee all aspects of daily sterile drug production and production personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform final verification check of prescriptions once filled

• Directly oversee and supervise the activities of compounding technicians

• Answer incoming pharmacist queue calls from patients, practitioners, and other healthcare professionals

• Establish great relationships with prescribing practitioners, and promote the Lee Silsby brand

• Review incoming prescriptions and enter prescriptions into dispensing software

• Clarify incomplete/inaccurate prescriptions with practitioner’s offices

• Counsel walk-in patients

• Interact with our Patient Care Advocates to answer questions relating to patient care

Job Requirements:

• Must be licensed with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy with a license in good standing

• Professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• "Soft" sales skills when speaking to prescribers

• Excellent organizational and math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

• Strong attention to detail

• A talent for catching errors and inaccuracies

• Strong work ethic

Education & Experience:

• B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD Degree

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a compounding facility, with first hand knowledge of non-sterile, hazardous or sterile drug production
