Job Title: S.T.A.R.S Program Associate Instructor
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas - 4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, Texas
Salary: Based on Experience
Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday through Friday,

General Job Duties: To motivate and assist in the supervision of consumers for them to achieve maximum skills. Track Stars participants’ attendance and leisure activities. Interact with the general public via direct contact and over the telephone. Ensure that S.T.A.R.S. participants are properly logged in and out each day and assist with and daily instruction and training. Keep accurate and timely daily records of each consumer’s activities while in their designated area. Maintain the safety and security of consumers, activity areas. Work together as a team member to be sure that the S.T.A.R.S program runs efficiently and to the enhancement of all team members.
Skills/Qualifications: Must meet MHMRTC credentialing requirements. Good interpersonal skills and adaptability to change preferred; supervisory skills and experience working with disabled or disadvantaged individuals. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good communication skills are required.
Physical Requirements: Sufficient mobility to assist Stars participants with occasional physical assistance.
Legal Requirements: Meet I-9 requirements, pass background, and drug screen. Candidate must meet staff qualifications as outlined by MHMRTC.
