Job Description - Overview
This position, located in Oklahoma City, OK, is responsible for providing support to the
Human Resources (HR) Department (Benefits, HR, Leave of Absence, Compliance and Projects), including attending meetings related to departmental projects, engaging in analytical and technical support tasks, SAP human resources information system tasks, and configuration and programming of Benefits/HR systems. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position and reports to the Director of Employee Benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participates and assists with SAP human resources information system (HRIS) meetings, updates, training, and education. Identifies, suggests, and implements ongoing process improvements and policy changes.
- Acts as the liaison with the Information Systems department and outside vendors to facilitate resolution of system related issues.
- Responsible for testing, configuration, patches, and upgrades to SAP, Kronos, Benefits Enrollment System, and other Benefits/HR Systems as may apply.
- Writes code and configuration programming in SAP and Kronos for all Benefits Plans, Paid Time Off Benefits, FMLA, and State Leave of Absence Laws.
- Consults with end users to determine system functional specification needs and implement and resolve system changes as they arise.
- Creates and implements testing strategy and develops testing scripts, patches and fixes to the current system set-up. Ensures that documentation of the system set-up is current at all times.
- Serves as back up for the monthly billing of the Life, Optional Life, and Long Term Disability Plans.
- Responsible for EEO-1 reporting, yearly audits, and other related duties such as census reports, various queries and excel reports as assigned.
- Responsible for Organization Management, including new location setup and creating positions, relocation/changes to locations and positions, and evaluating job codes, workers compensation codes, and EEO categories.
- Keeps up to date with legislative topics and its application to existing benefit schemes and plans.
- Provides advice on the effect of actual or anticipated changes in law related to employee benefit and HR practices.
- Assists with the drafting of project requirement documents for submission to the Projects and Information Systems teams.
- Provides Benefits/HR systems training and communicate changes to staff and employees.
- Prepares ad-hoc reports as needed for Benefits, Leave of Absence, Human Resources, and Legal Departments.
- Creates and delivers face-to-face presentations designed to simplify complex benefit and HR issues to various employee groups.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned.
- Required work on weekends as needed.
Job Description - Requirements
- Strong skills/experience in SAP HCM and Kronos Leave/Accruals Preferred
- 5-7 years Analyst experience
- Benefits and/or Leave of Absence administration experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Experience with data analysis and extraction of database information for queries and reporting
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to deadlines
- Ability to multi-task on deliverables
- Ability to lead phases of an implementation/project
