JOB OVERVIEW
The Allied/Systems department require processing of customers' orders and from time to time delivery of those orders to customers locations.
Processing can be defined as assembling Stock Inventory Materials in a fashion that the materials can be transported to a customer's location, some metal fabrication or modification of material up to and including some minor welding.
Tasks /Responsibilities/Experience
- Load/Unload storage racking customer orders from either small single axle flatbed truck or from ground level trailer. Experience in tie down storage equipment, loading and unloading is required.
- Verify customer order, count materials, and confirm correct parts are being delivered or staged for pick up. This will include storage racking components and any other inventoried type of materials.
- Warehouse forklift work, storing and retrieving pallets, pulling orders, stacking materials, banding materials for shipment.
- Fabrication work as needed with direction from Allied System Sales Manager
- Assistance with inventory counts of materials. Inventory Control
- Shop work including shop clean up, transporting scrap materials to recycle center, sift, sort and stack functions.
- Minor Rack and Dock Installs including control of temporary help with installations. Order Processing
