Universal Teller - Saratoga Springs Branch Job at UFirst Credit Union
Location: Saratoga Springs Branch
Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday w/some Saturdays
Pay: $17.00/hr., More depending on experience.
The experience you need to succeed:
- Prefer up to six to twelve months of similar or related experience.
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with business machinery to include Xerox, computers and calculators. Working knowledge to Microsoft Word/Excel.
What you’ll do:
- Will be responsible for performing duties as assigned in the MSR, and platform employee duties.
- Create relationships with our members to ensure their needs are met.
- Makes outbound calls for onboarding and relationship calls (minimum of 7 per day).
- Assist with conducting consistent sales and team member meetings.
- Offer solutions for members' financial needs by cross-selling products and services
- Greet members, use name and maintain a professional and courteous attitude during transaction.
- Receive and accurately process member financial transactions.
- Examine checks presented and determine hold requirements.
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Answer basic inquiries regarding interest rates, fees and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and privacy policies.
- Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
- Refers members that have Real Estate, Commercial Loan, and Wealth Management needs.
- Follows Member Service Roadmap - Interviews members, provides financial solutions.
- Acquires necessary documentation to support loan application.
- Maintain current supply of sales and promotional materials.
- To process deposits, payments, withdrawals, cashed checks, etc. and perform miscellaneous operation duties accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist in the hiring of team members, training, coaching, mentoring, counseling, and evaluating of team members.
- Assist in the operational functions of the branch, which includes assist in vault balancing, ordering Money, conducting monthly teller audits.
- Work with the management to set branch schedule (includes lunches).
- Assist in ensuring the security of the branch is maintained.
