Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Demand and Supply Management Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Planning Administrator.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Toyota Regional Sales Offices and Private Distributors in all aspects of vehicle ordering
Reporting to the Vehicle Production Planning Manager, the person in this role will support the Demand and Supply Management department's objective to Right Vehicle, Right Place, at the Right Time
What you’ll be doing
- Manage monthly vehicle order operations for assigned vehicles throughout the monthly order cycle, including model year spec setup and N12/N6 forecast activities.
- Maintain close communication with regions, private distributors, Fleet, and Vehicle Supply teams.
- Represent customer voice and market demand in negotiations with related supply teams to secure needed support to achieve strategic goals and meet market demand
- Analyze and assess market conditions, develop solutions to reconcile demand/supply challenges
- Create A3/Power Point style documents/presentations for management/executives
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in Excel - Intermediate
- Proficiency in PowerPoint- Intermediate
- Flexible schedule, able to work early/late hours during key operational peak times
- Positive attitude, willingness to take on cross-learning training to take advantage of rotational opportunities
- Experience in an analytically based work environment
Added bonus if you have
- Power BI experience or other data analytics tools
- Customer support experience
- Proficiency with A3
This position is based in Plano. Toyota encourages all employees to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location.
