We're headquartered in Nashville, TN; however, we work with clients around the globe. We’re looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded video footage and apply artistic editing techniques to create a finished product that accurately reflects the vision of the Creative Director.

Objectives of this role

• Ability to perfectly translate the Creative Director’s vision into a beautifully crafted video.
• Implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
• Ability to follow production deadlines and work to a tight schedule.
• Ability to study and learn new editing techniques and styles
• Edit footage into timelines and cut time out of certain shots to create a more impactful story for the audience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage and transfer/upload to a computer.
• Edit video to include music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
• Improve and correct lighting, coloring and faulty footage.
• Edit audio tracks as needed.
• Ensure correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications.
• Consult with the Creative Director and Producer throughout the project.

Required skills and qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years and a background in narrative editing preferred.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, or Premiere).
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Solid Attention to detail.
• Submission of 3 or more completed projects that demonstrate your narrative and creative editing abilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
