Proximity Marketing is looking for an experienced creative Web Designer/Web Developer to join our marketing team at our office in Brunswick, OH. Responsibilities include all aspects of creating websites, microsites and landing pages from initial setup through go live. From meeting with clients and assessing their needs, to creating and maintaining websites, you will work with our team to incorporate web design into our client’s overall results-driven web marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design overall look and feel of a website, based on user experience best practices
• Ability to work within various CMS and Ecommerce platforms (primarily WordPress)
• Ability to develop themes or modify existing themes
• Identify and disseminate marketing technology and design trends and emerging platforms
• Ability to define technical requirements, timelines, and budgets
• Determine usability flows and testing methodologies
• Manage website quality control procedures
• Continuously evolve the web standard of excellence
• Ability to design, code and test email marketing campaigns
• Ability to launch a website from domain purchase to go-live

Skills

• Languages: php, html5, css, jquery, javascript
• Familiarity with MySQL
• Ability to launch a website from domain purchase to go-live
• Evaluate a website’s user experience and make site recommendations
• Organize/structure/plan sitemap for websites of varying sizes, including large, 50/100+ page websites
• Ability to use/understand/interpret Google Analytics, including setting up conversion metrics and Goals
• Tag Manager experience a plus
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of DNS, cPanel, WHM
• Eye for developing the “brand style” including images, icons, banners, GUI and page layout
• Experience with design concept style or mockups
