HR Generalist, Full time, Temp Job at FlexStaff
We are looking for a HR Generalist for one of our clients. This is a long-term temp assignment with the potential to become permanent. This role is mostly remote, but may require candidates to go into the office in Melville on occasion.
In this role, you will be expected to work Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5pm EST.
To qualify for this position candidates should:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, HR Business Partner background or Paralegal background is highly preferred
- Possess 2 or more years of HR experience
- Have knowledge of labor laws and legislation
- Good data analytics abilities, specifically Excel (must know v-lookups and pivot tables)
- Previous experience with Workday (preferred)
- Are able to work independently, does not need a lot of hands on training
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring a shared mailbox
- Handling the onboarding process through Workday
- Completing analysis of I9’s
- COVID-19 Company Compliance Response
- Re-Entry Project Planning and Support
- Very strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
