Technicians work independently to service and maintain residential and commercial properties to perform lawn care services using spray equipment, fertilizers, and soil amendments.
- Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using fertilizer, liquid, or organic controls
- Work with and report to the supervisor to review the day’s work
- Ensure inventory procedures are followed
- Plan and prepare for the next day’s work every evening
- Loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Clean and wash equipment and return to the storage location
- Report broken or damaged equipment to management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a current valid driver’s license and appropriate driving record with no offenses
- Must have reliable transportation and an updated proof of insurance
- GED or a High School Diploma a plus
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Should display strong organizational skills
- Strong ability to pay attention to detail
- Should be able to stoop, stand, and bend for up to 10+ hours a day
- Should be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently
- Ensure successful completion of all job site reports
- Operate a motorized spreader/sprayer
PA Pesticide License in Category: Core, 7, 16 a plus
