Job Summary
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will promote Wamesit Lanes brand to internal and external audiences through marketing communication, social media content and events. In this key role, you will collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and human resources to develop meaningful content and oversight across marketing channels including public relations, social media, internet, website, email, and video.
You will be expected to:
- Plan, organize, promote and execute signature events and special promotions throughout Wamesit.
- Communicate with vendors regarding design, build and infrastructure of event.
- Communicate event details internally and externally, and day of event execution.
- Assist Marketing Director process and plan the organizations event and promotional calendar.
- Provides support to the Marketing Director with the coordination, budgeting, timelines and distribution of all promotional giveaways.
- Collaborate with content and creative on the development of item design and unique marketing executions to help sell key promo dates.
- Continually assess our marketing techniques and their effectiveness in affecting sales
- Stay up-to-date on current market trends
- Collaborate with the Sales team when scheduling special events.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers.
- Increase profitability and brand recognition internally and externally.
- Creating and running company social media advertising campaigns. Including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Tik Tok, YELP, etc.
- Build a social media presence by maintaining a consistent online presence.
- Manage our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
- Monitor comments on each of our accounts.
- Email Communication to database on Events, Specials, and Promotions.
- Work with Marketing Content Coordinator to cultivate creative content (images/video) from on & off-site events for use in Marketing.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on planned events, post-event feedback and data (attendance at event, email addresses obtained, events/parties booked, etc.)
- Coordinate Street Team for Off-Site promotional Events.
- Coordinate all details required to ensure an on-site & off-site event runs smoothly and successfully.
- Complete any tasks delegated by management.

REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma required or GED equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing/Promotions field.
- 2+ years’ working internal and external special events.
- 2+ years’ work experience in social media.
- Experience in marketing and developing visual communication strategies.
- Experience with publication layout and design.
- Proficient in all MS Office Applications, Google Docs, Dropbox, and Constant Contact experience a plus.
- Proficient working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, YouTube, YELP, Eventbrite, Hubspot, etc.
- Proficient in all Adobe Applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Premier.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Employment subject to successfully completing a Background Check and/or CORI Screening.
