RN Clinical Manager - Hybrid/Remote Job at UCLA Health
In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of clinical triage, complex case management, care planning, and development of post-acute strategies that enhance the patient centered medical home. Assume complete oversight of the daily operation of the Clinical Advisor RN team, works collaboratively with the Managers of Comprehensive Care Coordinators, and represents the department and UCLA Health System to internal and external customers including patients and families, post-acute care network of providers, nursing, physicians and ancillary medical personnel, administration, other hospitals, health plans and other third-party payers. Assist with the development of systems, processes, and outcomes of clinical care teams and programs designed to address clinical, psychosocial, and financial needs of patients and families. Strives to integrate and align inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute strategies to meet the goals of the Triple Aim. Scope of responsibility includes personnel management of the RN team, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across the organization and with the outpatient and post-acute care network, safety and risk management, performance improvement, staff education, staff evaluations, and policy development and implementation. Possess outstanding communication skills, broad clinical expertise, superior organization to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and exemplary leadership and collaborative skills.
Salary range: $92800.00-$183600.00 Annual
Qualifications
Required:
- Current and valid California RN license requiredGraduated from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN
- Ability to be flexible and work according to availability of office personnel, patient and resources required to coordinate care of patient.
- Minimum 5 years of case management experience, inpatient or ambulatory.
- Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, and procedures to recognize alternatives and provide solutions.
- Skill in speaking clearly and using appropriate grammar. Must have pleasant and courteous telephone voice and manners.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while functioning independently, maintaining confidentiality in all assignments, and showing initiative in identifying and solving problems as they occur.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and to respond professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to creatively integrate competing demands of a multidisciplinary setting into a productive working environment
- Skill to organize workflow to accomplish established objectives.
- Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, physicians, peers, and the public
