Summary:
Talent Acquisition Managers are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the hiring demands for our growing business segments and overseeing geographically dispersed teams. The position reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. This leader will be the consummate partner with the business helping to connect and align talent with the most critical hiring needs – ultimately enabling the business to achieve their strategic objectives. This team helps foster, promote and execute on the organizational goals around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all we do. The Talent Acquisition Manager will drive strategies specifically aligned with high volume positions as well as leadership positions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tactics to source and attract top diverse talent against current and future workforce planning strategies, including partnering with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Talent Management, Human Resources Business Partners, Business Resource Groups, Inclusion Councils, HBCU’s, and external women/diversity/veteran/disabled career organizations.
- Strategically partner with leaders to understand their business goals, identify talent needs/or gaps, and develop a plan of action.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including recruiter activities, performance, PTO coverage, requisition load balancing, customer service, problem resolution, etc.
- Lead and develop their team of Talent Acquisition Consultants and Coordinators, ensuring they are aligned to high-impact work in support of our delivery goals and their professional development.
- Leverage and expand our current brand messaging throughout our talent recruiting process to promote “Category of One” and “Employer of Choice”.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of leading-edge recruiting tools and frameworks.
- Continuously look for better solutions and innovative ways to improve processes and effectiveness of the recruiting function.
- Demonstrate a passion for driving/contributing to an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Routinely analyze and interpret talent data (turnover, promotions, performance) to understand the impact of talent processes and make continuous process improvements.
- Partner closely with the HR team and business leaders to share best practices and solicit feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Human Resources Management, or Business Operations that includes team management (hiring, firing, performance management)
OR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Human Resources Management, or Business Operations that includes team mgmt. (hiring, firing, performance mgmt.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executive leadership teams and have business acumen across a broad range of business lines
- Possess strong presentation skills and have a proven record in collaboration and influencing others
- Ability to drive strategy and action upon data analytics
- Demonstrate capability to drive creative and innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies
- Exceptional and effective advising, influencing and partnership abilities required
- Strong people leadership and capability in building and leading high-performing teams
- Proven project management skills to deliver highly visible, enterprise wide initiatives to established deadlines, including status updates, reporting and “telling the story”
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems – preferably WorkDay
- Excellent understanding of current recruiting trends and operating environment
- Previous experience supporting Retail or other high-volume business segments
- Advanced skills with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
